St. Oliver's will re-open on Thursday, August 27th 2026

  • Doors Open at 8:40 am
  • Classes commence at 8:50am
  • Junior and Senior Infant classes finish at 1:30 pm
  • 1st to 6th Classes finish at 2:30 pm

The school will be closed on the following dates

  • October: Mid-term Monday 26th to Friday 30th October 2026
  • December: Christmas Holidays Tuesday 22nd December 2026 (School closes @ 12 noon)
  • January:  School Return Wednesday 6th January 2027
  • February:  Bank Holiday  Monday 1st February 2027
  • February:  Mid Term Break Thursday 18th and Friday 19th February 2027
  • March:  St. Patrick's Day Wednesday 17th March 2027
  • March:  Easter Holidays, Friday 19th March 2027 (Closing @ 12 noon)
  • April:  School Return Monday 5th April 2027
  • May: Bank Holiday -  Monday 3rd & Tuesday 4th May 2027
  • June:  Bank Holiday - Monday 7th & Tuesday 8th June 2027

SCHOOL CLOSES ON  Wednesday, 23rd June 2027.

  School Closures

It has been a very busy year and an extra busy June.

School tours, sports days, preparation for our Yellow Flag evaluation, Creating our Diversity Code, Traveller Pride Week, Road bowling, World Refugee Day, YF art winners, 6th Class talent show with Martin Mahon and his rap group .

6th Class Graduation was very special this year. The director of the Irish Traveller Movement and former past pupil of St. Oliver’s Bridget Quilligan was our guest speaker and inspired us all.

We are very proud of our winners in the YF art competition and would like to congratulate everyone who took part.

Senior Primary Individual:

2nd-Kate O Donoghue - Ms L Jones 4th

3rd –Alexandra-Ms J O Sullivan 5th

Primary Group Entry:

1st place-1st class group entry Ms C O Sullivan

2nd place-Senior Infants Ms Dennehy.
