  School Closures

Student_CouncilSt. Oliver's Student Council was established in January 2011. Here is a picture of our First Student Council!!!!

The council is comprised of seven pupils from sixth class elected by their peers and Mr. D'Arcy, the school principal.

The council meets once a fortnight. The aim of the council is to offer our senior class pupils a role in discussing appropriate school policy and plans, to identify areas of concern, to develop new ideas and initiatives and to support our school community.

The student council will be elected in mid-October each year. In 2019/2020 the Student Council became involved in shaping the design of our new school extension. Forming a Children's Research Advisory Group (CRAG) they gathered ideas on School Design from the Sixth Classes and presented their findings to the Board of Management and the School Design Team.
